At least I know where I stand
In Palestine, my brothers and sisters are sad and mourning, engulfed in raging war,
Countless children left orphaned, parents losing their precious ones,
Families scattered, death lurking at every corner.
Isolated from all sides, Palestine awaits aid that struggles to find its way,
Hospitals lacking medicine, places of worship reduced to rubble and decay,
Meanwhile, here I stand, unable to do much except offer my prayers,
Every prayer after each prayer, I hold their plight dear.
May Allah SWT always protect the people of Palestine,
Guide them through the darkness, with His light divine,
May peace and justice prevail over the land,
And strength and resilience emerge hand in hand.
Although I may feel powerless from afar,
My thoughts, prayers, and support will never cease to spar,
For the strength of unity and compassion can make a difference,
Together, let us strive for a world of peace and coexistence.
