In the midst of tranquility, joy, and pleasure,
On another corner of the Earth, there lies a measure,
A war wages on, a genocide prevails,
Children lose parents, families are in trails,
Tears flow freely, pain lingers in the air,
But help is blocked, leaving them in despair.
Should we still stand idle, hands held tight,
While others suffer through their dark night?
No, my friend, it's time to take a stand,
Extend our help, reach out our hand,
United we must be, compassion our guide,
So their suffering can slowly subside.
Let's raise our voice, spread awareness wide,
For in unity, hope and strength reside,
Through acts of kindness, love to impart,
We can heal their wounded hearts,
Though distance may separate us physically,
Together we can make a difference, truly.
So let us not simply stand and gaze,
But be proactive, even in the smallest ways,
With empathy and compassion, let us unite,
And bring a glimmer of hope, shining bright,
For in this fragile world, we are connected,
Let's spread love and peace, as expected.
Together we can be a powerful force,
To change lives, alter their course,
In the face of darkness, let us be the light,
To stand for justice, both day and night,
For in the struggle of others, we find our own,
Let's join hands, not just standing alone.
Remember, my friend, the power we hold,
To bring solace to the weary and undersold,
In a world so vast, yet intimately tied,
Let's be the change, with hearts open wide,
No longer shall we stand with hands still,
But together, we'll forge a better world, and always will.
