 Deep in my heart, in silence ....

In the quiet of the room, a son stood by

His father lay frail, unable to reply

With a heavy heart and eyes filled with tears

He must bid farewell and overcome his fears

"Oh, dear father, I stand here today

To ask for forgiveness, in every way

For the mistakes I've made, please understand

I've stumbled, I've faltered, I need your guiding hand"

Silent are your lips, and still are your eyes,

But the love you've shown, it never dies

I long for your voice, that once rang so clear

But now it's the memories that I hold dear

In prayer, I kneel, before Allah SWT

To protect you, my father, eternally

I ask Allah for blessings, for strength and grace

To see you through each hardship you face

Though you can't utter the words I long to hear

I know you still pray, without any fear

In every sujood, I plead for His divine decree

To grant you solace and set your spirit free

I am sorry for the times I caused you pain

For the moments I fell short, for all my disdain

I strive to make you proud, for you are my guide

Though your voice may be silent, your love won't hide

With each prayer, I hope to find peace of mind

To cherish your presence, though we're confined

Your strength, your faith, still emanate strong

Inspiring me to carry on, no matter how long

Though you cannot speak, your love transcends all

In my heart, your blessings will forever fall

So, rest now, dear father, do not despair

For I'll continue to pray, and show you I truly care

May Allah preserve your honor and light your way

May He ease your pain and brighten every day

And even though you can't speak or move as before

Your spirit, your love, forever soar.
